Well-run hotel in an amazing setting right next to the town centre. Based next to many nearby shops and restaurants, Theatre by The Lake and Derwentwater itself, and the restaurants and bars. Freshly prepared breakfast with a lot of amazing foods.

Ideal place when visiting Keswick. Very clean, comfortable. Nice locagtion. I though it would be' Lakeside' but it is in fact in town 300 yds from the lake. But no worries still a good place to stay. We arrived late at 11 o'clock and could not get in, they lock the doors at 10, so you have to have a key. We had to phone to be let it. So word of warning phone to say you will be late arriving.
Ther is nothing to dislike about this Hotel. For the Lake District the price was ok, a bit pricey.

the restaurant served delicious food. the service was exceptional. 3. I tried some nice dishes. 4. Its location, just a few steps away from Hope Park, was unbeatable. 5. the hotel is situated in a central area.

The hotel was superb. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a good breakfast. Prime location. Would definitely stay here again.
Car parking was a little difficult at first but the hotel offers a parking permit to use in the town cent

The hotel units are well-appointed and top-class. the breakfast is lovely. - the hotel offers a nice view. - the setting is wonderful. - Close proximity to restaurants, the lake, main parking lot, the town center, theatre.

Room very spacious and well furnished, very very comfortable. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
With space available I think an upgrade of bathroom size would be beneficial.

Lakeside is a lovely small hotel - it was all spot-on, clear and clean design, spotless, large rooms nicely presented, not at all naff or chinzey. And very good breakfasts with personal service. Great location for the lake (2 mins) and town (2 mins).
a bit pricey- but so are all English hotels.
